CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
Updated: 20 April 2021
As government response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic unfolds, we will take immediate action to advise schools, volunteers or guests of any changes that may occur in the lead up to our upcoming event in June 2021.
The safety and wellbeing of all students, teachers, guests, volunteers & employees of Stand Tall - The Event is taken seriously and will always be of highest priority.
Stand Tall - The Event is closely monitoring advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health website, where reliable & regular updates are provided.
We are responding appropriately as the situation evolves and will provide further updates here on our website.
Our Stand Tall Event serves an important role in building resilience, self-belief and most importantly, hope in the lives of young students. This is essential during times of hardship and uncertainty, which often test our reserves of resilience. Given Australia’s summer of natural disasters, and now as we face impacting health challenges in the community, it’s more important than ever to deliver strong messages of self-belief and hope to young people, building their mental strength to overcome adversity.
Preparations are well underway for the Stand Tall 2021 Hybrid Event to be held live in conjunction with a live-streamed event which will be broadcast into schools across Australia.
