It is the Stand Tall team’s mission to create unique, tailored events that effectively equip and inspire all secondary school students to be hopeful, as hope generates mental wellbeing and good decision making, even in the most challenging of circumstances.’

To achieve this mission we are guided by our organisational values, which keep us focussed on the goals ahead:

Positivity: We are positive people, as this trait engenders hope

Authenticity: We are genuine and transparent in all our dealings

Compassion: We are driven and motivated by deep compassion

Respect: We respect each other and those we help

Integrity: We do things in truth, for the right reasons

We are a group of people from business, sports and education who have been blessed by growing up in a nation with arguably the greatest opportunities in the world. We believe, absolutely, that Australia’s Generation Z have a great future, yet they face intense pressure to engage in an array of destructive influences as they enter their teenage years.

Our events address the desperate need to show them an inspiring alternative, presented to them by some of Australia’s most exciting young speakers and musicians. It is our purpose to show Gen Z a future and hope.

We expect students will leave the Event with newfound inspiration and skills to live positive, healthy, fulfilling lives and the resolve to Stand Tall and resist the powerful negative influences that surround them in today’s society
— Nick Farr-Jones, Patron and Chairman of the Board
