Stand Tall run Australia's largest youth wellbeing events.
The aim of Stand Tall is to share a message of hope with young Australians through promoting positive role models and facilitating important conversation about mental health.
Stand Tall was formed in 2012 by three mothers, Angela Farr-Jones, Jeanine Treharne & Ros Hills in response to the alarming statistics of mental ill-health amongst the next generation. Stand Tall is a NFP that is committed to positively impacting the youth of Australia.
Young people now face many challenges including social media, bullying, peer pressure, drinking, drugs, partying, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. As a suicide prevention accredited charity, Stand Tall aim to address these topics through inspirational stories of overcoming adversity and challenge, finding purpose and self belief, and caring for others.
Stand Tall consistently hosts events in Sydney for over 6,000 students, and has also embarked on Regional Tours to Dubbo, Pambula and Tamworth for over 9,000 students. Smaller events have taken place in Liverpool, Newcastle and Shell Harbour.
Stand Tall continue to do everything they can to take their life changing events to new locations around NSW, and hopefully in the future, around Australia.
